Challenge
To deliver information quickly and easily to site managers to help determine which cranes are most suited to the job required. Clients needed to be able to input lift requirement information and receive a technical response as to their receommended crane.

Solution
The website provided an online downloading facility where users could receive the latest PDF specifications on any of the cranes available for hire. Furthermore, clients could receive an online lift analysis free of charge to help determine their most suited crane.

With technology changing so rapidly in the manufacturing industry, Emrich needed a way to promote new technologies to their clients without having to spend excessive hours qualifying clients.

Solution
The website created provided an online information gateway for both clients and distributors to find new technolgies to help their businesses. An online contact gateway allowes interested parties to contact Emrich directly through the site.

An online quoting facility was also developed for clients wishing to upgrade their vehicles and receive a trade in value on their current vehicle.

Mansfield - Mt Buller Tourism Association

Mansfield Mt Buller Tourism Association was formed by the local council on behalf of the local businesses in the area to promote the activites and lifestyle on offer for travellers to the region.

Challenge
As a new organisation in the region designed to promote not only Mt Buller but the entire Mansfield District, the local businesses needed to tell people interested in visiting the area what activities were going on, what events were coming up, where they could stay, and how much it would cost.

Solution
The website created was broken down into sections allowing users to search and browse individual types of businesses such as accommodation, food and wine, activities, whats new and events. A backend administration site was also created, allowing the staff of MMB to add/edit/delete businesses currently in their database.

MW Wines

MW wines is one of Australia's premier rare and fine wine wholesaler and retailer. MW wines holds monthly auctions on site, and can source almost any rare or fine wine in Australia.

Challenge
MW wines sought to expand its target market by linking its monthly auctions with an online Auction system, enabling customers to participate in the monthly auctions without having to be there.

Solution
Our custom designed auction software has enabled MW wines to accept bids in realtime for coming auctions. This system allows the marketing of multiple auctions simultaneously, thereby allowing the development of further profit centres within the business, such as the silent auctions and e-Bay style auctions.

MW Wines now have five independant websites managaing the various profit centres of their business.

Carlins Motor Auctions

Carlins is a family owned business that specialises in "Trade Only Auctions". The business was started in 1960 in the City of Melbourne by Arthur Carlin, who recognised the need for an auto wholesaler to satisfy the stock requirements of the retail motor industry. Carlins has become one of Australia's leading auto wholesalers with auction houses around the country.

Challenge
Carlins needed a way to interact with their clients without them having to attend each auction. The clients include both sellers and purchasers of vehicles, and both parties required their needs to be meet through an online secure portal. Furthermore, staff were spending an excessive amount of time on the phone distributing various pieces of information, all of which were being tracked in their in-house database, and a way needed to be found to distribute this information to clients securely, yet automatically.

Solution
Hopscotch developed an online live auction system, whereby vendors could arrange for their vehicles to be collected at a pre-determined location at a certain time, whilst specifying reserve prices and vehicle information through the website, and entered directly into the database. This meant that Carlins staff simply needed to compare their database with vehicles as they arrived. Vendors could then follow the progress of the auction online, and be advised which cars had met their reserves, or which cars had outstanding offers.

Clients were then able to bid through a live online interface, and set bidding limits on vehicles coming up in the auction or being bid on in realtime. Bidders could view account information, plus bidding history on any vehicles they have bid or placed offers on.
